On the 7th day of the trial (April 21, 2022), the defense presented a video to the jury as evidence of Johnny Depp domestic violence toward Amber Heard.

The video showed him yelling, cursing and angrily slamming cabinets (at least one glass breaking) during an argument with her in his home at West Hollywood, California, when the former couple were still married:

[Johnny Depp] "Want to see crazy, I'll give you [expletive] crazy. I got your crazy. All your crazy. […] Motherf*****. Motherf*****", someone could be heard punching a wall

[Amber Heard] "All I did was say sorry. Did something happen to you? I don’t think so. You drank this whole thing this morning? You’re smashing s***."

Then Depp pours himself a large glass of wine and finds the camera, grabbing it to stop Heard from recording him.

After the video ends, Depp says the clip is illegally recorded and one of Heard's attorneys, Ben Rottenborn, asks if Depp was drunk in the video, to which he answers: "There's a possibility of that." The attorney then says:

[Ben Rottenborn] "You poured yourself a mega-pint of red wine, correct?"
[Johnny Depp] "a mega-pint!? [the courtroom attendants laugh] I poured myself a large glass of wine. I thought it necessary."

Soon after, the video was already uploaded to YouTube and immediately went viral, gaining over 7.2Mi views in just over a week.
